Jaipur is a jewel in the Indian heritage. Being part of the Golden Triangle of tourism in India, it is one of the most visited and photographed city of the world. Famous sites like The Wind Palace, Amber Fort, City Palace and Jantar Mantar keep the tourists glued to the city.

In our Jaipur animal care program, we invite dedicated and well-meaning volunteers to assist in our animal care project to help the ownerless wandering street animals to make the street animals lives safer, happier and meet their needs.  The project compound is based at a peaceful place, garden like grounds of compound, provides refuge for many animals, works as a veterinary hospital treating all species, and aims to be a home to as many unowned animals as possible. 

In this project you have the opportunity to work with these fragile yet wonderful animals, you would help them in improving their lives


  • Assist hospital in maintaining the established routine of the hospital so that the daily tasks are carried out as effectively and efficiently as possible
  • Periodic checks throughout the day on the health and well being of the animals and reporting issues if any
  • Ensuring that relevant food is purchased and provided by the kitchen to the respective animals
  • Caring of sick animals for feeding them healthy nutritious food, hand feeding if required in certain cases and ensuring drinking water to them
  • Grooming of animals as per the grooming schedule provided

Agra: The city of Taj

A one night two days weekend excursion to Agra. If in India, never miss the Taj. The breathtaking experience of seeing this marvel is mesmerizing. Visit the majestic TajMahal, Red Fort and local markets.

Pushkar: Camel Safari

A one night two days weekend excursion to Pushkar. Stay overnight in a tent accommodation and enjoy your camel safari in the dunes. Take a tour of the holy town of Pushkar.

  • Airport arrival pickup, within the prescribed window from 10 AM on Day 1 of the program until 6 AM on Day 2 of the program (Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport)
  • Overnight accommodation post arrival pick up
  • Accommodation throughout the program : facility with up to 4 participants per room with same gender.
  • A thorough orientation up arrival on various matters related to information about the program as well as about volunteering.
  • 3 meals per day as per local cuisine (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for the entire duration of the program
  • Cultural workshops and activities during the first 2 weeks of the program
  • Presence of a dedicated program coordinator at accommodation
  • Presence and support on site by a English speaking translator and helper to ensure that work can be carried out effectively by the volunteers on a daily basis.
  • Every day transportation from accommodation to project and back.
  • Best available internet facility in the region, free of cost
  • Extensive pre-departure information, post-arrival printed material, regular training and support

Supplementary charges

  • Single occupancy charges: €150 additional per week per person
  • Twin occupancy charges:€75 additional per week per person (Subject to availability of companion to share a twin room)

Special requirements for animal care & rescue:

  • Participants must be 18 years or older before the start date of the program
  • Participants need to understand and accept animal behavior and body language. 
  • Should be physically fit and able to stand, run or walk for up to 2-3hrs.
  • Participants must sign disclaimer and liability release before coming onto the program.
  • All the required vaccination must be obtained before this project.


Full payment is due two weeks before arrival date or within 14 days after receipt of the invoices, whichever is earlier.

Under no circumstance will the fee be refunded to any volunteer/participant for cancellations less than 14 days before program start date.

Our partner used to be a travel company doing and operating regular group trips for customers from Europe. The opportunity to evolve presented itself in the form of a small experiment with some volunteers from Denmark in late 2002 that did a month-long project for and with a community of nomadic blacksmiths in the province of Rajasthan.

Since 2002 then, it has been offering volunteer and travel experiences to international volunteers in India, Nepal and Thailand.
