HOW TO SAVE YOUR BUCKS WHILE PLANNING A TRIP TO INDIA?
Travelling in India on a budget
- Travel Tips
Our NGO needs volunteers to help renovate schools, build bathroom facilities or tanks to collect drinkable water.
Our NGO in India is running building projects all year long. Projects are run by locals, volunteers are constantly in contact with local communities.
Volunteers on building projects will also be given the chance to organize activities with the children : sports, English lessons, adult tutorials, trainings and skills session.
Volunteers financial contribution goes towards materials for the construction site.
The schools we work with are basic and cannot afford to improve their appearance. With your hard work we can improve and make better use of the limited spaces available to provide more positive learning environments for the children.
The water sanitation projects are even more important in fishing villages surrounded by sea water. Unsafe drinking water and unhygienic sanitation practices cause significant health problems in Indian communities. By building rainwater tanks, you will help in providing sustainable drinking and cooking water for poor families living by the backwaters.
You will have the chance to explore the best of Kerala during weekends. Volunteers are based in Cochin, the gateway to relaxing backwaters, nearby elephant camps and magnificent waterfalls. We'll give you plenty of tips to make the most of your trip in India : cooking classes, traditional kathakali cultural shows, kayaking, cycling and many more activities!

We have 2 missions. We firstly provide children and community members an opportunity to better themselves and increase their self confidence through the help of education, art, health, construction and sports project volunteers. Secondly we develop unique and safe travel packages that offer learning, adventure and fulfilment to any traveller coming to India.
We are committed to providing an extraordinary experience, along with responsible and safe travel options to individuals who seek to get more out of their holiday. Whether it’s leading a workshop in the community taking the lead on a building project or standing at the front of a classroom and teaching English , our volunteers will be helping to give underprivileged people in India the skills they need to improve conditions in their communities.
