Here at Freepackers, our mission is to ensure that our students have the opportunities and tools to succeed, and our partner educators offer consistently high standards of teaching.
Tailored to your needs
You have a choice of part time or intensive courses, with a minimum enrolment of two weeks. For courses longer than 12 weeks, you will be required to have a or . The part-time course is for you if you’d like to combine your English classes with other activities, and would take up 16 hours of each week. However, to make the fastest progress possible, consider going for the intensive language course, at 25 hours per week.
Courses begin every Monday, and we hold classes in Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. You will be allocated to a suitable class based on your current skill and proficiency. Requirement for entry into the course will be elementary level English – you will need to be able to recognise common words, greetings and simple instructions. Each lesson is 45 minutes in length, and with a maximum class size of 15, you can be assured that you will receive the best attention from your teacher. All our teachers are native English speakers with the highest standard of qualification, and are trained to provide flexible learning materials, ongoing support, mentoring and progress assessment.
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate.
Choice of Accomodation
We have many different accommodation options available, but one of the best ways to experience the Australian culture, live their fantastic lifestyle and be able to practice your English every day is to choose from one of our three homestay options:
Deluxe, where you’ll have your own bathroom and won’t have to share with another student;
Family, where two of you will stay with one family and share a bathroom;
Self-cater, where there is no limit on student numbers and nationality mix. You’ll share a bathroom, do your own laundry and have limited interaction with the family.
For the first two options, breakfast and dinner are provided Monday through Friday, and all 3 meals on weekends. The third option is breakfast only through the whole week. Students under 18 years of age are not allowed to select the Self-cater option.
In all homestays, students have their own single room, with a comfortable bed, desk, chair and wardrobe. All families live close to a bus stop or train station, and are no more than 40-50 minutes traveling time to college in peak traffic conditions. In normal traffic the travel time is much less.
